Don't be like the rest of them darling...

Just a few inspirational images for this post.
I have a slight obsession with Pinterest so you can see all of these plus more right here
This week has all been about birthday celebrations for me! (quite selfish really)
Considering I hate the thought of growing a year older I have been celebrating in style!
Tomorrow i'm off to Brighton for the weekend for some birthday madness with the girls which is straight after followed by camping over in Dorset, then i'm off to Paris- the city of romance.
I am a busy busy bee, wondering how long it will take me until I have a mental breakdown.

Hope y'all have a fan-dabby-dosey weekend.
Much love

Week In Pictures...

Howdy y'aaall,
I can feel myself slacking on this blog malarky already, woopsy.
Thought I would give you all a little insight into my busy week with some of my immense photography skills.. (Don't tell me I don't treat you)
This week has been spent dying lots of clothes, and my hands accidentally. I've gone tie dying crazy so if you see a hue of colour floating about the village that will be moi!
I've customised a load of shorts too so will post up pictures soon!
If anyone wants anything printed/studded/dyed just let me know, i've had quite a few requests so thought it's a good side job!
Also have designed a load of prints that are super cute which i will post up shortly too!
So other than that i have been enjoying the sunshine, boarding, getting very drunk and thinking i'm an Olympic cyclist. Also I didn't win the lottery. Major life fail.

Hope your weeks have been as fantastical as mine!
Peace

Edward Sharpe & The Magnetic Zeros

 Shorts- Customised by me
Lace trim shirt- Vintage
Rings- Silver stall, Australia
Earrings- Malta & Topshop

On Thursday I went to go see Edward Sharpe & The Magnetic Zeros with my bro
-They were amazing.
It was at the Manchester Cathedral so it was a really intimate gig and something about it was so chilled out. I've posted a link so you can have a listen- folk music at it's best!

My concentrating face..

Turns out I'm not too bad at technology after all.
So here's a lil clip of me and my amazing guitar teacher playing Green Day.
Don't expect fireworks, i've only had 6 lessons.
Also excuse the massive frown- it's my concentrating face!
This took us 4 takes believe it or not and we still managed to go wrong!

Hiding In Camouflage

Hat- Vintage
 Shirt- Topshop customised by me
Jacket- Vintage Revolver
Leggings- American Apparel

I've been after a camouflage army jacket for so long and finally found one through vintage clothing brand 'Vintage Revolver'. It's fair to say i'll be living in this jacket now.
I added studs to the shirt which you can see in my post below.
So this week has been a busy one so far, I'm aching like hell from bootcamp and yesterday me and my guitar teacher managed to record us playing a whole song without going too wrong! I've had about 6 lessons now so learning fast.
I was trying to put the video live on here but it's proven to be far too technical for me.
Tonight i'm off to Manchester to watch Edward Sharpe & The Magnetic Zeros. I can't actually wait!!
I'll take lots of snaps and post them up later in the week.
Until then...

Studs, Studs, Studs

Shorts & Shirt- Customised

To say i'm obsessed with studs at the minute is a slight understatement!
Last week I did a little DIY project where I studded up some old clothes, ready for festival season.
It's really simple, you can buy clothing studs online that are really cheap, then literally just hammer them in! It took about an hour to do but I'm a beginner I was using my skateboard as a desk which was probably not the best idea.
I've recently bought a load of fabric dye too and going to design a few prints for some T-shirts too so will post them up shortly!

Dreaming Of Paradise

OK, I had totally forgot i'd even set up a blog (awful memory) until I went to London at the weekend and was told to get back into it. So here I am, back blogging!

I thought i'd start back with a few pictures from last month when I spent the day in Manchester to see Coldplay. I got free tickets so it was a last minute road-trip, spending the day shopping and then dancing it up in the evening. The gig was immense, our wristbands flashed up in different colours and Beyonce was chilling out in the box behind us!
Also a picture of my beautiful red hair, which has now gone- As soon as I get rid of it I immediately regret it. I now have sun-kissed hair so will put up a more recent post later in the week!
Until then readers
