Do What You Love And Fuck The Rest

Howdy y'all,
I thought I'd put up a few inspiring pics seen as it's Friday!
I've got a busy weekend planned- Tonight i'm off for cocktails with the girls, tomorrow i'm off to Birmingham to go to the German market and to see my lil' bro, followed by more drinks in the evening for a friends party..A very alcohol induced weekend!
Enjoy the pics and have a great weekend!

Jumper- Topshop.  Fringed Bag- Allsaints.  Snake print scarf- Allsaints.
Fox hat- H&M.  Shoes- Sam Edelman

Halloween has been and gone, next up Bonfire Night!
I will be spending Bonfire night at a local rugby club where i'll be keeping warm next to the fire, lighting sparklers and eating toffee apples! Before then I need to go on a much deserved shopping trip. Above is a picture of the outfit i'm after. The skeleton jumper is a bit Halloween-esque but it glows in the dark so is on my wishlist! I also need these shoes in my life.

Lacey Glow

Shirt- Vintage. Velvet Headband- Topshop

So, these are the last few pictures taken at my parents house of my beautiful lace trim shirt. It's not the most flattering top but I just can't resist the lace! This was one of the pieces I bought from the Strawberry Fields Festival I worked at a couple of months ago.
The past couple of weeks I've spent moving boxes into my new home and having friends and family to visit. Although slightly empty it is beginning to look like a home- It has potential!
I need to get back into my posting regularly once I'm back to normality!
Until then..

My Little Piece Of Rock N Roll

A little gem I picked up last week from Topshop..My little piece of rock n roll.. My ear cuff.
I wore this out for my brothers birthday meal.  Worn with a backless slouch t-shirt, blue skinny jeans and some lace up heel boots.
It was only about £8 so a lovely bargain too!

A flower for you!

I know I've been naughty and not posted in a while, I've been so busy! I promise I'll post something fun very soon!
The past couple of weeks I've spent at family BBQ's, a trip to London to celebrate my brothers birthday, work has been busy with a big photo shoot last week and now I'm packing to move out of my parents house..sad times but it has been fun spending stupid amounts of money on furniture. I think I may have gone a bit OTT with red mugs though.. Maybe it will be my new hobbie to collect red mugs in my passings by..Then again maybe not..
I hope you've all been having fun and had a good couple of weeks!
Feel free to leave me a comment, it certainly brightens up my day!

Sticks & Stones May Break My Bones

Last week I went for a stroll around the fields behind where I live.
I spent so much of my childhood in these fields, it's as though the trees are nestling in the memories and walking through the woodland brings each vivid memoir back to life- from playing in a 'SPLAT' Club tracking down robbers, to running away from home but having to turn back round a couple of hours later  cold and hungry!
It's sad to see that the fields are now being turned into new estates.
I did have a pair of gorgeous heeled boots on but as you can imagine I was sinking through the mud so gave up and put on my comfies!
My jackets a new purchase and will definitely be keeping me warm this Autumn!

Photography:Unknown

Earlier this week I went for a meal and found a christmas tree and tinsel decorating the hallway! I always find this time of year slightly depressing, with nothing to look forward to except christmas.
I've been thinking for about half a year now about my next tattoo. I've already got two. One when I was 16 and another that was a spur of the moment thing on my last year of Uni. They were both pretty spontaneous so I want to make sure my next one has been thought about long and hard!
I've had one in mind for the past six months but looking through so many tattoo images it's making me want more! I'm the kind of gal that likes little cute tattoos though.
Here's a few images that inspire me.

Oh So Good

Well I thought i'd share this little beauty with you all.. My little box of random nibbles.
I came across this on another blog and had never heard of it before.
It's pretty simple, you tick all the stuff you would like to try, and bin the foods you don't like- the seeds went in the bin for me.
This little box helped me stop snacking on junk all day and was verrry yummy (I know I sound like a sales woman!)
For all of you who fancy a free box of nibbles heres a code: G8HM56XM

Enjoy!

Festival Fun

Hat- Vintage
Jacket- Vintage
Scarf- Miss Selfridge
Aztec Leggings- Topshop
Fur Coat- Peter Golding
Neck scarf- Gift
Sweater- Forever 21
Stripe top- GAP
Wellies- George@Asda

It's definitely been a busy weekend working at the Strawberry Fields Festival. On the Friday in true English tradition it was torrential rain. (hence the gloomy first pic!) But it did eventually pick up!
I was working in a vintage stall tent which was heaven to me, everything looked like it was from my grandmas old dressing up box, individual little treasures. I bought myself a nice top & cross necklace too!
Sunday night I had to pack up the Annie Greenabelle stall (with the help of my strapping man), we were so tired we bought a crate of 24 energy drinks from one of the stalls next to us, and no we didn't drink them all!
Very fun weekend!
Anyone else been to any fun festivals?

Studs and tassels

Hat- River Island
Denim Dress- H&M
Feather Clip- Topshop
Tassled Jacket- Topshop
Bracelet- Pandora
Studded Boots- Mea Shadow

So another week has flown by too fast!
I spent my weekend shopping, sleeping, eating & drinking!
I thought i'd add this look as it's what i'm really into at the minute, boho/traveller look. The Jacket is from Topshop & it's always so much fun to wear, although the tassels always gets stuck in the car door! My shoes are a size too big for me but they were in the sale for £105 reduced from £200 so I couldn't resist!!

Today I've had a couple of recent purchases finally come through the post so I will put them up on here soon.
Fingers crossed for good weather this weekend too as i'm working at Strawberry Fields Festival in Leicestershire in the vintage clothing tent, selling very decent priced clothing!
See any of you going down there!!

London Fashion Capital

So, according to the Global Language Monitor, London is officially the world's Number 1 fashion capital! Pretty exciting!
I do have to agree that London street style has got it going on.
The thing I love most about English style is the way guys dress. There's nothing I love more than rolled up chinos, some cute Ray Bans and a vintage chunky knit jumper. They also manage to pull off the 'I've not washed for days but still look good' look. But hey, that could just be me!

Tonight i'm off to an open air theatre and in true English style it's raining! I'm planning on taking my camera so I'll take some snaps. Last night I went to a fun fair in the village next to me to take some pics with my brother but we were the only people there and felt too embarrassed so left after 2 minutes..On the plus side we got a cone of chips and walked home!
Hopefully tonight will be a bit better!
